Cue it (the “app”) helps sound operators build a cue sheet and play audio during a show. The app does not collect personal information. Everything you put into the app is stored only on your device. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it is kept and how it is treated.
The app keeps your show data, audio and device settings only in your device's storage (the browser's IndexedDB/localStorage, or the installed app's device storage). They are not sent to the operator's servers or anywhere else. The only exception is the minimal information needed to check a paid license, described in section 7.
| Information | What it is | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Show data | Show names, scripts and run sheets, cue settings (order, volume, fades …), notes | On the device |
| Audio files | Sound files you choose yourself, plus their duration and waveform summary | On the device |
| Device settings | Edit-lock PIN, registered GO keys (pedal/remote), display settings, language | On the device |
| License check | The purchase receipt, code and device number described in “7. Paid features and licenses” below | Device + license server |
Scripts and run sheets may contain people's names (roles, MCs). These too stay on the device; the app does not read or transmit them separately.
This information is used only to provide the app's features — editing cue sheets, playback during a show, creating backup files. It is not used for statistics, advertising or marketing.
The app does not provide your information to third parties. The only thing sent to the operator's server is the license-check information in section 7.
The app uses no cookies, analytics tools or advertising identifiers. When you open the web version, the app files are downloaded from the hosting service (Cloudflare Pages), which may keep ordinary access logs (IP address, time of access) for security and operations. Those logs do not contain your show data.
Purchases of paid features are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play billing systems, or, in the web version, by our reseller Paddle.com. The app does not receive or store payment details such as card numbers; it only receives from the store what is needed to confirm the purchase. Team licenses for the web version are arranged directly with the operator by email.
To check a license, the following is sent to and kept on the operator's license server (Cloudflare). It contains no names, contact details or show data.
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| When you buy or restore Pro in the Android app | The Google Play purchase receipt (purchase token) | To confirm the purchase with Google and issue a code for your PC and tablet (web version) |
| When you buy Pro in the web version | Payment is handled by our reseller Paddle.com — your name, email and payment details go to Paddle, not to the operator's server. The operator's server keeps only a one-way hash of the transaction number and the code issued for it | To confirm the payment, issue your code, and withdraw it if the purchase is refunded |
| When you enter a code in the web version | The code, a random device number generated by that browser, the device type (PC/tablet) and browser name | To count how many devices use one code |
This information is not used for any other purpose or given to third parties. Pressing “Release this device” in the web version removes that device number from the server. To have a purchase receipt record deleted, email the contact below (the code issued for that purchase will then stop working).
The app collects no personal information from anyone, regardless of age.
If this policy changes, the updated text and its effective date will be posted on this page.
